Photographer and cycling adventurer Sophie Gateau found herself confined in her home town of Paris. Just like Kong Fufu, she found a way of riding with purpose by joining the Pour Eux movement.

As a cycling volunteer, she connects individuals who prepare food parcels with those in need, those whose welfare is directly threatened by the Covid-19 crisis. The movement was born as soon as confinement started, and spread across many towns and cities in France and Belgium. As of the 30th of April over 10,000 meals had been delivered in Paris.

Whilst delivering the meals, Sophie takes the opportunity to photograph the empty and confined capital. So here is a rare, and somewhat eerie view of a deserted Paris as seen through Sophie's lens.
